Cowpea

Also known as 'Flesh Peas', 'Stock Peas', 'Texas Cream Peas', or 'Southern Peas'. Cowpeas have a high protein content and may be eaten as snaps or dried. Seed of certain varieties are very fragile and as a result they can lose germination rapidly. We recommend planting at a heavier rate to compensate. Excellent for use as a green manure crop. Plant 1/2 lb. for a 200' row. 2 oz. packets plant a 50' row.
