After the last spring frost and when soil warms, plant thinly, 1/2" deep, in rows 36-48" apart. Allow 2 weeks for germination. Thin to 18-24" apart. An earlier crop can be obtained by starting 3-5 seeds in a Jiffy® peat pot in early May and planting them outside, pot and all, in early June.
