These unique perennial heirloom onions, also known as "tree onions" or "walking onions", form clusters of very small bulblets or sets on the tips of the leafstalks. An established plant resembles a clump of green scallions. Harvest sweet pungent scallions in spring and small pickling onion topsets in summer leaving a few to reseed for a hardy permanent scallion bed. Orders will not be shipped until fall when the top set is mature. Pkg (10 sets)
