Deep purple flesh all the way through and skin to match makes this fingerling somewhat of a novelty item. However it's delightful, earthy flavor and vigor make it a staple for any well-rounded vegetable garden. Harvest early for fingerling sized potatoes or leave them in the ground for a larger, blockier tuber.
