Late Season.
The little, yellow-fleshed salad potatoes brought to this country by early German settlers have a quality and flavor all their own. The tubers are long like a finger, about 1 inch in diameter and 2 to 4 inches in length. Skin and flesh are yellow and the flavor is delicious. Boil with the jackets on and cut up to use in salads. They are also delicious when fried.
