A French heirloom, popular since the 1800's. Resembles the pumpkin that Cinderella's fairy godmother turned into a coach. Beautiful, bright orange-red fruits are deeply ribbed and flattened resembling a cheese wheel. Fruits weigh 10-15 lbs. Flesh is deep-yellow, moderately sweet and best suited for pies.
