2021 Pea of the Year. A novelty in our test garden. The 4" long, slender pods resemble a bean but have the super sweet flavor of fresh peas. Shorter, 18-24" vines yield an abundance of stringless, edible pods ideal for snacking, stir-fries or freezing. For a mid-spring crop, plant seed as soon as the soil can be worked and enjoy the first healthy, tasty treats of the season.
