66 Day. Butterhead. 1963 AAS Winner. Long-time favorite. Vigorous, dependable and easy to grow. Compact head with light-green, thick, tender, juicy leaves. Slow to bolt. Continue to pick for an extended harvest. As soon as the soil can be worked, sow seed 1" apart, 1/8" deep, in rows 18" apart. Allow one week for germination. Thin to 6-12" apart. Lettuce does best in cool weather, and can be started inside 4-5 weeks before transplanting outdoors. Cannot ship to FL
