60-65 Day. Well suited for late summer to fall growing, one of the best, in fact. Strong, upright, deep green foliage is attractive in the late growing season. Heavy bulbs are pale green, sweet and crisp, with good field holding character. Tasty raw, in salads and slaw, or lightly cooked. As soon as the soil can be worked, sow 1 seed per inch, 1/2" deep, in rows 18" apart, thinning to 6" apart. Allow 2 weeks for germination. When the bottom of the stem has reached 2-3" in diameter, it is ready for harvest.
