Vigorous, heavy yielding and very reliable. Pleasant, sweet, pea-like taste and buttery texture. Pods are 6 to 7" long, well-filled with large, smooth-skinned seeds of delicious flavor and consistency. Resistant to Common Wilt, Nematodes and other pea diseases. A Southern favorite. More like a bean than a pea. Use green in the summer, and dried in the winter.
We will be substituting California Blackeye #5 Cowpea for this item.
