This historical flour corn is said to be connected with the Mandan tribe of what is now North Dakota. Different from flint corn in that the whole kernel is soft, starchy and easy to grind. The 6' plants yield an array of colorful, 6-8" ears with beautiful, translucent kernels. Truly a corn for the Northern gardener. Seed purchased intended for planting.
