Bean, Pole, Dow Purple Pod 

75-80 Day. Pole. Romano. A scarce variety, said to have originated in Illinois. A vigorous climber, vines reach up to 6' and produce 7-8" flat pods with a rich purple exterior that starkly contrasts with the bright green interior. Pods will turn green when cooked. Good germination even in cold, wet soils.
