Start 6 weeks prior to outside planting. Plant 1/4" deep in flats, transplanting into Jiffy Pots when seedlings are 2" high. Or, as soon as the soil can be worked, sow thinly 1/4" deep in rows 3' apart. Allow 10 days for germination. Thin plants to 2' apart. Withstands moderate frost.
